Infinity Ward’s community manager Robert Bowling, also known as fourzerotwo, has announced the Stimulus package’s price will be lowered:
“We feel we did very badly with the Stimulus package. $15 is pretty expensive for a package which only contains 5 maps, of which 2 are old an only reskinned. We feel we really should at least have added some extra content to make it worth the money. Because of that we have decided to lower te price to $10. We can’t do it immediately, the servers might go down again, but we’ll definitely do it. Also, to appologize, we’ll bring out a new free DLC in a few weeks. The DLC will contain 2 new Spec-Ops levels and will bring some of the favourite guns of CoD4 en WaW to the multiplayer.”
“Among the guns in the DLC will be some of the favourites of CoD4 and WaW, like the MP5, the AKs-74u, the M40A3 sniper rifle, the Arisaka unscoped, the Gewehr 43 and the Tokarev tt-33. It will be completely free, all you need is a Xbox Live Gold account.”
